MEMORY WALK VOLUNTEER - OCCASIONAL ROLE

Where is it you want me to volunteer?

The Memory Walk will be based in Salisbury but the venue has yet to be decided.

What will I be doing?

We're looking for volunteers to help on the day during the Salisbury Memory Walk in September 2013. The walk was a great success in 2012 thanks to the support of many volunteers both before and during the walk, but this year we want it to be even bigger and better!

This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy organising activities, getting involved in supporting Alzheimer's Society and meeting new people. We are looking for volunteers who can help with:

• Assisting with activities on the day such as setting up and dismantling the site, acting as an information point, registering and helping walkers, distributing information packs, managing cash from a variety of stalls, marshalling, helping to run stalls and refreshment areas and other similar activities

How much time do you expect me to commit?

This is an occasional volunteering role. We will need you to help on the day of the Memory Walk (September 2013, date yet to be confirmed). We will also contact you a few weeks in advance to provide you with a briefing of the event.
