What will I be doing?
Memory Walk is Alzheimer’s Society’s annual flagship fundraising event with walks taking place throughout September 2013 across the country.
This volunteer role is vital as the project team will support the Community Fundraiser in planning, organising, delivering and evaluating the local Memory Walk.
- Supporting the planning of a Memory Walk as part of the project team
- Helping to promote the Memory Walk and participation of walkers locally
- Marshalling on the day, supporting stalls and selling raffle tickets, etc.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
The walk will be held in September 2013 but organisation begins several months in advance although this time is flexible and can be worked around your existing commitments and lifestyle.
