Volunteer: Fundraiser Research, East Anglia
This is a home-based project and can be situated anywhere in East Anglia (Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex)
What will I be doing?
Volunteers are vital the the Alzheimer's Society. The Society needs to identify new sources of income across East Anglia so that we can increase funds in order to provide more services to the growing number of people living with dementia, as well as campaigning for change and investing in dementia research.
Volunteers in this stimulating role will research opportunities to raise funds and will collect and analyse information so that the most effective decisions can be made. They will receive top quality Alzheimer's Society training and will be supervised by a Community Fundraiser.
Volunteers will carry out research into prospective new partners for raising funds, collecting data, interpreting information, engaging in internet searches as well as contacting people by email, phone and in writing, and recording information.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
This will vary. The tasks and goals will be agreed between the Fundraising research volunteer and the Community fundraiser.
How do I apply?
Either email Carla Searle, Community fundraiser, on carla.searle@alzheimers.org.uk or phone her on 07525 403826
