Volunteer: Community fundraising co-ordinator, Hull & East Riding
Where is it you want me to volunteer?
We are looking for one or more fundraising co-ordinators in both Hull and across the East Riding. Our local office is in Beverley and co-ordinators will need to attend meetings at this venue. Some local travel may be required for which out-of-pocket expenses will be paid.
What will I be doing?
This is an exciting opportunity to help us raise funds through organising local events and activities. Your role will be to plan and organise a number of fundraising events during the year in the local community. As the co-ordinator you will be responsible for leading a group of volunteers to plan and deliver these events. If you enjoy leading and motivating people as individuals or in teams this role would be ideal for you. You can concentrate on one or two big events or opt for more regular, small-scale activities. The choice is down to you and your group and you will be supported and managed by our experienced Community Fundraiser. Please note that these roles do not involve house-to-house or street collections.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
This is a very flexible role in terms of hours. We need someone who can volunteer regularly in order to plan interesting events and keep in contact with their group of volunteers.
