Volunteer: Community Fundraising Coordinator, Wrexham

How does this role make a difference?

Community fundraising is at the very centre of how we raise vital funds at a local level.  Money raised funds the delivery of universal services that include our website and National Dementia Helpline, as well as local services such as Memory Cafes and Singing for the Brain.  It also helps to fund research into the cause, cure, care and pervention of dementia and our campaigning work.

How much time will I need to give?

This is a flexible role in terms of hours, although it would ideally suit someone who can volunteer regularly.

What will I be doing?

You will take a leadership role in planning and organising community fundraising activities and events in the Wrexham area, liaising closely with Community Fundraiser.

What support will I get and what experience is required?

Alzheimer's Society is committed to supporting volunteers in whichever role is carried out.  This role is supported by the Community Fundraising Officer.  No special qualifications or experience is needed.

How do I apply?

To apply for this role please email your contact details to volsnorthwales@alzheimers.org.uk or phone 01978-364867.

Alzheimer's Society is an equal opportunities employer.
