What will I be doing?
Information Support Volunteers are vital for establishing relationships.
An Information Support Volunteer is needed to become actively involved with building and maintaining a strong relationship between Alzheimer's Society and the wider Exeter community. Within the role the Information Support Volunteer may assist staff in finding funding, partnership and collaborative opportunities by attending meetings, forums and workshops with and on behalf of Alzheimer's Society staff.
Alzheimer's Society is extremely keen to play to people's strengths. Therefore the Information Support Volunteer will be able to choose an area of the role to concentrate mainly on.
Training for the role will be provided as will on going support. Information Support Volunteers will be entitled to the reimbursement of their travel and out of pocket expenses.
