Where is it you want me to volunteer?
This role is based at the Wales National Office, Atlantic Wharf , Cardiff .
What will I be doing?
Assisting the Community Fundraising Team to produce its bi-annual fundraising newsletter for Wales . This post is ideal for anyone who is thinking of going into marketing, journalism or a retired person with a flair for creative writing.
Tasks and responsibilities
· Write, edit and design a newsletter that will be made available to AS members and supporters
· Collate stories of interest to promote and champion the work of the Society in Wales
· Contribute to the layout, ensuring there is a good balance of features
· Liaise with printers to ensure deadlines are met
Skills and qualities:
· Good IT skills
· Strong written skills
· Able to work using own initiative
· Creative
· Able to work to deadlines
· Eye for detail
· Ability to research information from a variety of sources
· Willing to work as part of a team
How much time do you expect me to commit?
We are looking for a volunteer who can commit 2 days a week for a minimum of 2 months.
