Volunteer: Fundraiser, Wrexham

How does this role make a difference?

Community fundraising is at the very centre of how we raise vital funds at a local level.  Money raised funds the delivery of universal services that include our website and National Dementia Helpline, as well as local services such as Memory Cafes and Singing for the Brain.  It also helps fund research into the cause, cure, care and prevention of dementia and our campaigning work.

How much time will I need to give?

This role is very flexible and options can be discussed when you first meet with us.

What will I be doing?

Fundraisers are the local heroes of community fundraising and help with local events as diverse as coffee mornings and tea parties to fashion shows and high street collections.  The list is endless so bring your ideas and get involved!

What support will I get and what experience is required?

Alzheimer's Society is committed to supporting volunteers in whichever role is carried out.  For this role, you will be supported by the Community Fundraising Coordinator and the Community Fundraising Officer.  No qualifications or experience are required.

How do I apply?

To apply for this opportunity please email your contact details to volsnorthwales@alzheimers.org.uk or phone 01978-364867.
