Volunteer: Fundraiser, Swansea area
How does this role make a difference?
Fundraisers are the local heroes of community fundraising. They spend their time, on an occasional or regular basis, helping with local events as diverse as coffee mornings and tea parties, fashion shows, collection in the high street or in private premises, music events, book stalls, auctions, festival or faith based events. The list is endless. Bring your ideas and get involved!
How much time will I need to give?
This is a very flexible role. Fundraisers can help us on a regular basis each month or a few times a year depending on availability. Fundraising events take place at various times during the week and throughout the year.
What support will I get and what experience is required?
Alzheimer's Society is committed to supporting volunteers in whichever role is carried out. This role is supported by the Community Fundraising Officer. No qualifications or experience are required as relevant induction and training for the role will be provided. All agreed out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
