Volunteer: Peer Support Group, March, Cambridgeshire

Where is it you want me to volunteer?

This new Peer Support Group will take place in March.

What will I be doing?

The Peer Support Service Volunteer role is essential to support staff and to stimulate and engage with people with dementia and their carers. To meet, greet, talk and listen to people in a sensitive and supportive way.  To join in with social activities that benefit the individual and / or the group. To assist with setting up of the service and providing refreshments.

We will provide you with guidance and the required knowledge and skills to fulfil your role.  You will be required to attend learning and development activities relevant to this role.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

We are looking for 3 hours support once a month in the afternoon.
