What will I be doing?

Volunteer befrienders support people living with dementia in the local community. This involves companionship for a person in the early stages of dementia, helping them take part in social and recreational activities. Your support will significantly improve their well- being whilst reducing the risk of isolation so often experienced by people living with dementia. Full support, training and supervision will be given for this role.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

2 - 3 hours per week. This opportunity can take place outside of normal working hours.
