What will I be doing?

Volunteer Befrienders support people living with dementia in the local community. This involves companionship for a person in the early stages of dementia, helping them take part in social and recreational activities.Your support will significantly improve their well-being whilst reducing the risk of isolation so often experienced by people living with dementia. Full support, supervision & training with be given for this role.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

2-3 hours per week. This opportunity can take place outside of normal working hours.
