Volunteer: Dementia Awareness Week™ team, Maidstone and Medway, Kent

Where will I be volunteering?

You will be based at home but have access to the local office at Dairy Court, Fairview Farm, Linton Road, Loose, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 0AL

What do you want me to do?

Dementia Awareness Week™ is the Alzheimer’s Society flagship awareness-raising event and this volunteer role is essential to support local planning, organising and delivering of awareness events to the local population. You will use your good organisational skills within a team of local volunteers, attend meetings to plan and organise events. You will help promote local DAW events through the local media under the guidance of our Campaign and Media manager. You will also attend some of the local DAW events.

How much time do you want me to commit?

This is flexible but you need to attend planned meetings and be able to commit to undertaking the organisation needed for the events. You will need to be available for part of Dementia Awareness week 19th-25th May 2013 (TBC)
