At our Dementia cafe, Zurich House, 1 Meadow Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 2YG
What do you want me to do?
Dementia Cafes are organised meetings where people with dementia and their carers can meet for support and to discuss issues pertaining to dementia. There is a guest speaker (eg legal, social services) at most meetings. As part of a small team you will use your good coomunication and social interaction skills to welcome our clients, engage people in conversation and assist with the refreshments. This role will enable you to meet and offer support to people.
How much time do you want me to commit?
The group meets alternate Mondays for 2-3 hours. A commitment to one or two meetings a month is ideal.
