Where is it you want me to volunteer?
At one of our new Support Services groups in Stockport and Tameside
What will I be doing?
This volunteer role is all about helping out at one of our Support groups for people with dementia and their carers. The groups will be held in local cafes; or other community venues and your role as a volunteer will be to support and encourage people to relax, take part and have fun meeting others. If you like people; are a good listener; or have any arts/crafts/sports or activities skills, this might be the role for you !
How much time do you expect me to commit?
The groups will meet during the week on specific days for 2-4 hours, so if you can attend regularly that would be great, but we are flexible.
