How does this role make a difference?

Dementia support volunteers are essential in assisting staff at groups. You may meet and greet, make tea and coffee or assist with activities.  You will also support people with dementia and their carers and families by talking and listening to them.

How much time will I need to give?

To be arranged, depending on availability.

What support do I get ?

You will be supported by dementia support workers who will provide a local induction for you as well as ongoing assistance.
