Volunteer: Dementia Advisers, North & North East Lincolnshire
Where will I be volunteering?
Dementia Adviser volunteers will be based at our local office, Elsham Hall Country Estate, near Brigg.
What will I be doing?
Dementia Adviser volunteers provide a key role in supporting our dementia advisers to provide an effective information and signposting service to people who have a diagnosis of dementia, as well as their family and friends. You will assist with maintaining our Guidebook information database to help people access relevant services and information.
If you have good communication skills, are competent with IT and data entry and have an understanding of, or willingness to learn about dementia, we would love to hear from you.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
The role is flexible but ideally we would like you to offer a minimum of 3-4 hours per week, and to maintain continuity for at least a year.
