Based at our day centre in Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne

What will I be doing?

Supporting people with dementia in a social setting in our day centre in Lemmington, you will be providing companionship and helping people to enjoy social opportunities.  Your support will help to improve wellbeing and reduce social isolation. Friendly, sociable people are needed to join in with activites and interact with people with dementia.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

Ideally one day per week (approximately 10am to 4pm) as this will enable more seamless integration with our day centre users. 

Alternatively: a morning session - 10am to 1pm OR an afternoon session - (1pm to 4pm)

Will the role be suitable for me?

You will be 18 years or over. Friendly and sociable and willing to join in with activities and interact with people with dementia. Ongoing training and support will be provided.
