Various locations around Blackwater Valley.
What will I be doing?
Volunteer Befrienders support people with dementia in the local community. This involves companionship for a person with early-stage dementia, helping the individual to take part in social and recreational activities. Your involvement will help to significantly improve well-being and help to reduce the isolation so often experienced by people with dementia.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
2-3 hours a week.
