Volunteer: Singing for the Brain Supporter, Merthyr Tydfil
Where is it you want me to volunteer?
The Singing for the Brain group meets at High Street Baptist Church in Merthyr Town Centre.
What will I be doing?
Helping set out the room in an agreed layout.
Recording attendees.
Making and distributing beverages and biscuits, collecting in and washing up.
Chatting to clients and their carers
Supporting the group leader by issuing song books, engaging with songs/ movements, encouraging participation
Tidying up room after the session.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
The group meets every Monday from 10.30 - 12.00.
