Volunteer Lead Group Befrienders support people with dementia in the local community. The role is to offer informal support by providing a social contact to reduce social isolation for the person with dementia.

Blaenau Gwent.

What will I be doing?

To provide a befriending support to a person who lives with dementia. Your involvement will be organising and arranging group activities at a local venue. Activities could include arts and crafts, singing or exercise.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

About two to three hours a week. Induction, training and ongoing support and supervision is provided.
