Volunteer: Support Services, Peterborough Town Centre
Where is it you want me to volunteer?
This essential new Dementia Information Point for people with dementia and their carers will take place within walking distance of the town centre.
What will I be doing?
You will be welcoming people with dementia to the new Dementia Information Point. You will help staff to provide information, serve refreshments, engage in supportive discussions and conversations and generally ensure people with dementia and their carers are in a caring and safe environment.
If you have a welcoming, compassionate and supportive attitude, and can demonstrate empathy, this could be a perfect role for you.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
We are looking for 2 hours Support.
