In an area in Worcestershire, near to where you live or work.
What will I be doing?
By becoming a Campaign and Media Volunteer you will be raising awareness of dementia, influencing change, enabling people with dementia and carers to take positive action and increasing the presence of Alzheimer's Society.
You may be:
- engaging with external stakeholders including the general public, health professionals, MPs, councillors and partner organisations, to campaign to improve the quality of care for people with dementia.
- representing the society at appropriate events and forums, speaking publicly about our campaigns, as agreed with the External Affairs Manager.
- distributing campaigning material and encouraging people to take campaigning action
No experience is necessary just plenty of passion and enthusiasm.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
A few hours on a regular basis as well as attending/contributing to the campaign and media group meetings.
