What will I be doing?

This popular service is attended by people with dementia and their carers.  it is an opportunity for people to meet in a friendly social setting and gain information, advice and support as well as get involved in the activities running on the day.   Volunteers are needed to help set up the venue, meet and greet those attending, help with refreshments and with activities.  Good communication skills are important as well as an ability to show empathy and understanding.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

The sessions run on the second thursday of every month between 1 pm and 3 pm
