Volunteer: Support Services, Tameside
Where is it you want me to volunteer ?
At one of our Support Services groups in Ashton-U-Lyne, Tameside or Denton.
What will I be doing ?
This volunteer role is all about helping out at a weekly group for people with dementia and their carers. The groups are held in public venues such as garden centres and cafes and your role would be to support and encourage participants to relax and enjoy meeting one another. The current groups are Mons/Tues and Thurs.
How much time do you expect me to commit ?
2-4 hours per week is ideal, but the role is flexible.
