Where is it you want me to volunteer?

This new Dementia Information Point is for people with dementia and their carers will take place within the Whittlesey Library, 31 - 35 Market Street, Whittlesey PE7 1BA.

What will I be doing?

The Support Services Volunteer role is essential to support staff and to stimulate and engage with people with dementia and their carers. To meet, greet, talk and listen to people in a sensitive and supportive way.  Provide basic information, including fact sheets and similar Society materials.  To assist with setting up of the service and providing refreshments.

We will provide you with guidance and the required knowledge and skills to fulfil your role.  You will be required to attend learning and development activities relevant to this role.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

We are looking for 2 hours support per month.
