Where is it you want me to volunteer ?

There are opportunities in various locations in Trafford and Salford. The Area office is based in Sale: Ground Floor Dunham House, Cross Street Sale M33 7HH

What will I be doing ?

You could make a real difference in this role by encouraging people with dementia and their carers to take part and enjoy different group activities. By listening and supporting, you will ensure that all members of the group feel included, involved and able to participate in the activities you help co-ordinate. Quizzes, games, walking, talking and singing and dancing are some of the actitivies that are popular.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

This role is flexible and we hold different groups in differnt venues throughout the week. We  hope you will be able to offer a few hours each week but ocassional volunteering is a possibility too. To apply for this opportunity please email volsmanchesterse@alzheimers.org.uk
