What will I be doing?

Volunteer befrienders support people with dementia in the local community. This involves companionship for a person with early stage dementia, helping the individual to take part in social and recreational activities. Your involvement will help to significantly improve well being and help reduce the isolation so often experienced by people with dementia.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

Ideally at least 1 hour per week for a number of months. This opportunity can take place outside of 9.00am - 5.00pm.

This opportunity requires a Criminal Record Bureau check.
