What will I be doing?
Hospital befriending is a new and exciting volunteering activity and extends the existing befriending carried out in the community into a different setting. This involves companionship and re-assurance to a person with dementia to help ensure that their well-being is significantly improved by helping the individual to take part in social and recreational activities
How much time do you expect me to commit?
Ideally a couple of hours a week on a weekday afternoon.
