Alzheimer’s Society welcomes new Director of Fundraising and Marketing

Liz is currently Director of Fundraising at The Children's Society. For the last 20 years, she has worked in the not-for-profit sector, holding senior positions at the Red Cross, Guide Dogs, WSPA and the NSPCC.

Liz is very much looking forward to taking up the role. She said:

'I am absolutely delighted to be joining Alzheimer's Society at this exciting time in its history and look forward to leading a team that has already achieved so much. In ten years a million people will be living with dementia. Fundraising has such a vital role to play in ensuring that we support those people to live well and also fund research to find a cure.'

'We are thrilled that Liz will be joining us. Liz will bring a wealth of experience and skills to Alzheimer's Society, as well as her passion for supporting people with dementia and carers. Liz has been a certified member of the Institute of Fundraising for several years and in 2011 will be a judge for the Institute's National Fundraising Awards.
