Are you a Nationwide customer?

Published 20 June 2011

Alzheimer’s Society is one of three charities to benefit from Nationwide’s AGM vote.

Nationwide have pledged to give 20p to charity for every person who votes in their AGM (with a maximum of £250,000 being donated.) This is an opportunity for Nationwide customers to support people living with dementia by just the tick of a box.

Make a big change in the life of someone with dementia today by choosing to support Alzheimer's Society. Three big reasons to vote:

  • One in three people over 65 will die with dementia
  • Dementia is caused by diseases of the brain and can affect anyone
  • Today, there is no cure for dementia

Voting opened today (Monday 20 June) and runs till 18 July. You should receive your voting pack either by post or online in the first few days. There are four easy ways to vote:

  • Vote online - Go to nationwide.co.uk/agm a secure independent voting site available until 11am on Monday 18 July 2011. You will need your codes printed on your Voting Form.
  • Post your form - Use the pre-paid envelope provided in your voting pack. It must arrive no later than 11am on Monday 18 July 2011.
  • In branch - Place your signed Voting Form in the envelope provided into a ballot box at any Nationwide, Derbyshire, Cheshire or Dunfermline branch, by 12 noon on Friday 15 July 2011.
  • Attend in person - The AGM starts at 11am on Thursday 21 July 2011 at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London SW1P 3EE.
