Actress’ jungle outfit goes on sale on eBay

Alzheimer’s Society patron Britt Ekland has donated her outfit from ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, to help raise money for people with dementia and their carers.
Former Bond girl Britt appeared on last year's series of the reality TV show, where celebrities perform gruelling and gruesome 'Bushtucker Trials' for a chance to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
The unwashed headscarf, shirt, and vest-top, which were worn by Britt throughout her 16 days on the show, is now on sale at Ebay with all proceeds going towards the Society.
Britt says;
'My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in her early 50's and in those days it was not so widely understood as it is today. It is thanks to the work and efforts of Alzheimer's Society that this word is now recognised and the taboos are gradually being lifted.'
'My time in the jungle was a very difficult experience so I hope my donation will raise lots of money to help people with dementia and their carers.'
The clothes are now on sale on eBay with 100% of the profits coming to the Society. If you would like to know more about how you can use eBay to fundraise, please visit our eBay page.
