The rising cost of dementia – Are we prepared?
Published 20 December 2006
Groundbreaking research revealing the rising cost of dementia in the UK will be launched at a national conference on 27 February 2007 at Savoy Place, London.
The London School of Economics and King's College London report, commissioned by the Alzheimer's Society, examines the economic and social impact of dementia in the UK.
The national conference, entitled 'The rising cost of dementia in the UK - Are we prepared?' will provide a topical forum for discussion of one of the UK's most serious health issues.
The conference will be invaluable to NHS and social care commissioners, health advisers and policymakers, legal representatives, voluntary organisations and care providers.
