Russell Grant narrates Dylan Thomas' classic play Under Milk Wood at Hercules Hall, Portmeirion, Wales this weekend in aid of Alzheimer's Society.
Thomas' darkly comic examination of life in the fictional Welsh town of Llareggub will be a production with a difference - some of the parts will be played by amateur actors or those with no acting experience at all.
Russell intends to mix untested talent with seasoned professionals. He says,
'We wanted to involve professionals in theatre and film and get them working with people in the community - amateurs who like acting and people who have never done it before but who want to give it a try.'
Don't miss this opportunity to see Russell's own production of the classic play on stage at Portmeirion.
There are two performances per day, 11am and 8pm on Saturday 30 October and Sunday 31 October. Tickets are £10.00 including free entry to Portmeirion Village (concessions £8).
