The combined Chorus' of Evesham raise £5,064 to support Alzheimer's Society

Published 16 March 2010

The combined Chorus' of Evesham based Vale Harmony and Vale Connection performed a Charity Concert at Evesham Methodist Church.

Their aim was to raise £6,000 to be shared equally between Alzheimer's Society and The Birmingham Children's Hospital Kidney Kids Appeal.

The two chorus' sang their own songs and entertained hundreds of people over two nights - including the town's Mayor.  It really was a staggering success and the final amount collected was £10,000!

This amount of money simply could not have been raised without the incredibly hard work of the ladies of Vale Connection and the men of Vale Harmony, especially the Musical Director, Eddie Howell, whose tireless hard work and enthusiasm went a very long way to make this event such a resounding success.
