Calling all singletons out there!

The idea is simple - walking in beautiful countryside whilst meeting eligible men and women. The walk starts in Kent at the Chaser, Shipbourne and will be approximately 2.5 hours, ending back at the Chaser pub for a spot of lunch. 

The event is free but a suggested donation of £5 would be appreciated with all proceeds coming to Alzheimer's Society.

Ali Wooley, the event organiser said,

'Well I know speed dating has been around for ages, but I wanted to combine speed dating with an activity that puts people at their ease. Walking is ideal.

Personally it gives me a great feeling seeing romance flourishing step by step. After the last event the follow up feedback I received was lovely and putting the 'matched couples' in touch afterwards was very rewarding.

I got involved with Alzheimer's because my Dad suffered badly for years. He died in 2002.

During his Alzheimer's decline, my sister and I had to fight for simple care for Dad and despite our best efforts, he suffered terribly

Alzheimer's relatives need to be the voice of their loved one.'
