Alzheimer's Society joins the Fundraising Standards Board

Published 13 November 2007

The Alzheimer's Society has joined the Fundraising Standards Board, the self-regulatory body which has been set up to monitor the fundraising profession.

standards board logoThe FSB aims to ensure that any member of the public who has concerns about a charity has an independent body to complain to, should they not have their complaint satisfactorily dealt with by the charity.

As a member we adhere to the Institute of Fundraising's Codes of Fundraising Practice and the Fundraising Standards Board's Fundraising Promise.

The Fundraising Promise is a commitment made to the public by members of the Fundraising Standards Board's scheme. It has been compiled in consultation with fundraisers and the public and represents our commitment to the highest standards of good practice, and to ensuring that all fundraising activities are open, legal and fair.
