Credit Suisse select Alzheimer's Society as their Charity of the Year 2010

Published 4 November 2009

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Credit Suisse employees have selected us to be their Charity of the Year 2010.

Our bespoke campaign 'Care, Cure, Credit Suisse' could raise over £300,000 for the Society, as well as help us to increase awareness about dementia amongst Credit Suisse employees.

The support of Credit Suisse will enable us to provide a dedicated care worker for people under the age of 65 who live with dementia in East London. We will also direct funds raised into critical research projects to work towards finding a cure for this devastating condition as well as expanding a national helpline which provides vital support and information to those affected by dementia.

Neil Hunt, Chief Executive of Alzheimer's Society said:

'We would like to express our huge thanks to Credit Suisse employees for selecting Alzheimer's Society as their Charity of the Year 2010.

We are extremely grateful for their support and look forward to a productive partnership both in terms of funds raised and educating employees about dementia.'
