Website developments

Alzheimer's Society homepage

It's now been over 18 months since we re-launched alzheimers.org.uk and the new site has been a great success.

Traffic is up and we are better placed to engage with new supporters who are coming to our website on the back of greater awareness; both of the organisation and of dementia as an important issue.

However, we are always mindful of areas that could be improved and the user testing we conduct every year has identified a number of key areas that need further work, mainly centered on design.

We have therefore been working hard behind the scenes updating the look and feel of alzheimers.org.uk and have also taken the opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of our content management system and move to a new server which should improve the speed of the website.

The new site will go live during the afternoon of Thursday 3 September.

There should not be any downtime (and Talking Point. our online forum, will be unaffected)  but it may take some time for everyone to see the changes.
