Published 13 November 2007
On Monday 7th May, Radio 4's You and Yours will dedicate a whole programme to launch its national debate on long term care.
Alzheimer's Society campaigners have contributed to the hour long special so tune in on Monday at 12.04.
As part of this programme, Alzheimer's Society representatives also attended a public meeting held in Manchester and discussed this important issue with policy makers, service providers, users and carers.
The Alzheimer's Society has long been calling for a national debate on who pays for care and has joined a leading coalition 'Caring Choices' calling for a major public debate on the future of long term care funding.
