Help us make Memory Walk 2009 our biggest and best by registering today on our newly launched Memory Walk microsite memorywalk.org.uk
Visit memorywalk.org.uk today and help us raise over £650,000. All the money raised through Memory Walks is used to support people living with dementia in the local area.Last year (2008) 1,000 people registered online and we are hoping for more than double this year.
There are currently almost 70 walks and we expect to have 120 featured by the end of June.
Thanks to the support of Simplyhealth, Memory Walk is able to help more people through the vital funds it raises.
One of last year's Memory Walkers, Clare from Rochdale, said,
'The Memory Walk was a wonderful way of helping me feel I could do something. By walking in my dad's name, I have hopefully helped others get the same support I got all those years ago.'
