Get paddling for Alzheimer's Society!

Paddle the 18 miles of the Mersey Canoe Trail from Stockport to Carrington as a sponsored challenge or day out in the sun on Sunday 7 June.
This is suitable for all ages and beginners (the river is grade 1-2 with a moderate flow, a few easy rapids and four weirs). The distance requires four hours gentle paddling with breaks. There will be a fete at the end of the course arranged by the local scouts, with fairground rides, stalls and refreshments.
So dust off your canoe and come and join us, for what promises to be a great day out.
All money raised will support the Stockport, Manchester and Trafford branches. This event is sponsored by the Environment Agency Mersey Life Project.
Entry fee is £7 for adults and £3 for children plus £2.50 for non BCU members.
