We have been shortlisted for Lockton's Charity of the Year

Published 21 April 2009

We are very excited to announce that we have been shortlisted to be Lockton's next Charity of the Year.

It's a fantastic opportunity, which could raise over £50,000 for the Society.  This would enable us to provide vital support and advice to over 4,100 supporters through our National Dementia Helpline.

Lockton are a city-based insurance and risk management company and are looking for a charity partner for 2009-2010.

Alix Wooding, Corporater Partnerships Manager said,
'This is a really exciting opportunity for Alzheimer's Society to run some great fundraising events and to raise awareness of dementia with Lockton's staff across the UK.'
But we need your help to win it.  The next stage is a staff vote, which starts this week (20 April). We are up against some tough competition, so we need as many votes as possible!

If you know someone who works at Lockton, please encourage them to vote for Alzheimer's Society.  If you have any questions please contact corporate@alzheimers.org.uk.

We will let you know what the next steps are to make sure we win this fantastic partnership.

Thanks for your support.
