Malcolm Pointon's music to feature in a Musician's Benevolent Fund concert

Barbara Pointon and her husband Malcolm, allowed film-maker Paul Watson to film them after Malcolm was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The result was: Malcolm and Barbara - Love's Farewell.
Both were lecturers in music and Renee Reznek was a colleague who knew them both from Homerton College in Cambridge,'I knew Malcolm as a very bright ,erudite and funny man who was also a wonderful improvisor at the piano.
Malcom Pointon's piece Chant, which I will play in my piano recital at Rosslyn Hill Chapel on the 25 April dates from 1970 long before he became ill
I originally played it at the Memorial concert for Malcolm held at Homerton College on the 28 April 2007.
Renee's piano recital in aid of Musicians Benevolent fund takes place on Saturday 25 April at Rosslyn Hill Chapel.
