Daily Mirror 3am girl running marathon for Alzheimer's Society

Published 8 April 2009

Clemmie, a Daily Mirror 3am girl who reports on the latest celebrity gossip, is causing gossip herself by running the London Marathon in aid of us.

Persuaded by Katie Price and Peter Andre to enter the Flora London Marathon, Clemmie will be joining thousands of people, on Sunday 26 April, who decide each year to jog the 26.2 miles around London town.

Clemmie's celebrity contacts have ensured that some high profile stars are digging deep and helping her with her fundraising target.

Simon Cowell has pledged £100 per mile with Jonathan Ross donating £1,000.

Other famous names donating are: Leona Lewis, Paul O'Grady, X factor winner Alexandra Burke, Britain's Got Talent Judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan, BGT champ Paul Potts and TV host Vernon Kay, Kelly Hoppen, Louis Walsh, boxing champion Ricky Hatton and Jaime Oliver.

Good luck Clemmie!

Take a look at Clemmie's JustGiving Page if you would like to make a donation.
