Britannia staff showcase their talent and creativity in aid of Alzheimer's Society

Britannia Building Society, one of our corporate partners, raised an impressive £1,000 at a recent charity talent show.
A crowd of over 200 people came to watch the talent show on Saturday 1 November at Hanley's Mitchell Memorial Theatre, with actor and radio and television presenter Richard McCourt as one of the star judges.Liz Davies, based at the Society's Leek head office, organised the event and said;
'It was a fantastic evening with Britannia staff giving up their Saturday night to showcase their talent and creativity in aid of Alzheimer's Society.
The night was a huge success and in addition to those taking part, I would really like thank; Richard McCourt, the Mitchell Memorial Theatre, Mediafour, and Sporting Trophies of Leek.'
The evening was a sparkling success with winners Neil Brown and Steven Hughes impressing the crowd with their Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson routine.
Richard McCourt, Alzheimer's Society Ambassador, said of the evening;
"This is another amazing example of how people can give up their time to support such a worthwhile cause. Events like this not only raise much needed funds for Alzheimer's Society but also help showcase local talent".Thanks to everyone who took part in this fantastic fundraising event.
