Our comment on £30 million funding partnership between Wellcome Trust and Medical Research Council

'Today's investment is an important step towards this goal and we hope more investment and support will be given to vital dementia research.

If we could diagnose dementia earlier and find more effective treatments, we could radically transform the lives of millions of people.  Currently 1 in 3 people over the age of 65 will die with dementia and two thirds of people will never receive a formal diagnosis of their condition.'
