Here's your chance to win £10,000 whilst helping the Alzheimer's Society raise money to care for people today and to find a cure for tomorrow!
In 2007 this event smashed the Singapore world record by racing 165,000 yellow plastic ducks down the river Thames raising over £100,000 for 440 UK charities.
For 2008 the organisers are attempting to race a quarter of a million ducks down the 1 kilometre race course at Moseley Lock, near Hampton Court Palace on Sunday the 31st of August.
It is just £2 to adopt a duck*. There are 30 top prizes, and a first prize is a whopping £10,000. (*The £2 includes a donation to the 3 lead charities but you can make an additional donation to support the Alzheimer's Society.
Winning DucksWinning duck numbers will be published on The Great British Duck Race website on Monday the 1st of September 2008. Prizes must be claimed by the 31st of December 2008. Any unclaimed prizes will be distributed to accordingly or carried over to the next Great British Duck Race.
