Huge thank you to London Marathon stampeder team

Over 290 remarkable people hit the streets of London raising valuable funds for people with dementia and their carers, by running the London Marathon for the Alzheimer's Society on Sunday 13 April.
The Alzheimer's Society stampeder team ran a grueling 26 miles through moments of lashing ran and hail to help provide essential support, care and advice to people affected by dementia.Jo Swinhoe, director of fundraising and marketing says,
'I cannot say thank you enough to our London Marathon runners for the tremendous effort they went to on Sunday. Together they are thought to have raised a whopping £270,000 for the Alzheimer's Society.
'Many of our stampeder team have first hand experience of how devastating dementia can be. It is more than just memory loss; it is a disease of the brain that robs people of their lives. The funds raised on Sunday will help provide essential support and services for people it affects'
