South Wales Rotary Club runs luxury pudding appeal for Alzheimer's Society

Cwmbran Vale Rotary Club in South Wales have decided to support Alzheimer's Society over the festive period by running their highly successful Christmas Pudding appeal.

The club have banded together to produce and distribute hand crafted luxury Christmas puddings, which will be delivered all over the country, with all the profits going to help Alzheimer's Society support people with dementia and their carers.

Each special hand wrapped pudding costs just £10 - roughly the same price as buying a luxury pudding from a supermarket but without the hassle of queuing!

Wales Community Fundraiser Aimee Hopkins urged Society supporters not to miss out:

'If you are thinking of buying a pudding this Christmas, we invite you to get involved with this fantastic fundraising opportunity and treat yourself to some delicious luxury food. You can club together with friends and colleagues and order a box together, or alternatively Alzheimer's Society branded puddings would make perfect festive gifts. Last year the appeal raised a phenomenal £13,000 - if everyone spreads the word about the appeal as much as possible then we can help Rotary Club achieve an even more impressive total this year!'

To limit the cost of postage and packing and ensure that the most money possible can be raised for the Society, orders are by box only (12 puddings per box). To ensure your puddings arrive in time for Christmas, orders must be placed by December 1.
